I guess Melo had a meltdown last night after losing to the Celtics 102-96 at the Garden. According to Page six Anthony spent more time yapping at Kevin Garnett in a running fourth-quarter feud than making shots. Melo’s response to the constant elbowing, pushing, grabbing and trashtalking by Garnett was his breaking point…the league has long ignored Garnetts bulling and abusive ways on the court and labeled it as “passion”. Would Metta World Peace be allowed to get away with half of the junk Garnett gets away with?

Anthony may have risked suspension when he walked off the court without shaking hands and darted to the tunnel that leads to the visitor’s locker room. He waited for the Celtics players to arrive and began shouting at several of them.

According to a source, a couple of Knicks players dragged Anthony away from the scene before the incident escalated. Anthony was also overheard telling Garnett on the court he would see him afterward. The rumor is that Kevin Garnett said to Carmelo Anthony, that “Lala tastes like honey nut cheerios”

Carmelo said in a recent interview, “I lost my cool [Monday]. I accept that. But there are just certain things that push certain people’s buttons,” he told reporters. “You guys will never know what those certain things [are], and I would never sit and tell you what those certain things are or what was said [Monday], what was done. What’s done is done. Like I said, I accept that. I lost my composure [Monday]. For the most part, I’ve been very positive this season.”

CSNNE.com posted video footage of Anthony waiting for Garnett by the Celtics bus. It was reported the two got into a shouting match and Knicks coach Mike Woodson persuaded Anthony to leave the area.
