Up Next: Addie Mak “The Mak Book”

When you think of a Mac Book, you think sleek, top of the line, what’s current and the “must have” latest edition……as you should.

Now imagine everything I described but not as a device, but as the future of music, an entertainer, a rapper, and a person whose creativity and talent exceeds many…his lyrical flow and hypnotizing beats will take you beyond 4G ….

The “Makbook” is the forthcoming album from Baltimore’s newest rapper Addie Mak.

This is the first album from the artist, and is solid debut that demonstrates the talent of the artist who should be around the music scene for a long time, based on this first effort.

The 12 track album has a little bit of everything for everyone, globally, from hip-hop heads, to the dance floors, dibbling a little in dubstep and has awesome club bangers.

The entire album features some great bass lines, original drum beats, and orchestration that lifts some songs to new heights not seen in the Baltimore music scene for some time.  There is even a compelling guitar solo on a weed-laced track called “Loud Music”. Addie takes it from the club to the streets and paints a “Beautiful Me” telling the rugged tales from his heart to the streets.

This album will surely be heard at parties, strip clubs and night clubs alike as the word spreads about this new talented artist, AddieMak.
The highlights of the album are: “4 the Girls, a fun summer song with funky bass lines and catchy hooks that will keep people moving in the clubs and parties through the fall.

The next highlight is a track called “I Get It”, one of the more ambitious tracks on the album.

The track starts with a big, orchestrated sound that alludes to the high quality producers used to make this album.

This track has deep lyrics, strong musical arrangements, and a variety of sounds and instruments that add texture, edginess, and beauty to a song that is strong enough to be a radio hit.

Make room for Baltimore’s newest talent: AddieMak.
