Beyonce,Taylor Swift, Solange, John Legend and Other Celebrities React To Charleston Shooting

The whole country is shocked and hurting now after the racially profiled shooting spree in Charleston, South Carolina on Wednesday, evening (June 17) at Charleston’s Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church. The massacre left nine people dead, social media shared images of the “alleged” shooter as well as the victims and their names.  Many celebrities also took to social media to express their shock and condolences for the victims.

“Plane landed, turned on my phone, and my heart dropped to the floor,” Taylor Swift tweeted. “Charleston… This is an unbearable loss of lives and innocence.”

“Innocent people gathering to worship God are brutally murdered. Smh. Cherish life you guys…and cherish the people u love,” she wrote.

Beyoncé send her condolences, shares instagram video following the terrorist attack at the black AME church in Charleston.

“My heart is with the families, loved ones, and all of those affected by the senseless tragedy in Charleston. May they rest in peace.”

 

Shooter Dylann Roof was apprehended by authorities Wednesday and federal authorities have opened a hate crime investigation.
