T-Mobile Will Pay Your Early Termination Fee’s If You Switch To Them

T-Mobile dropped another bombshell to try and sway people to drop their original carrier and switch to them, T-Mobile’s CEO John Legre sent out a press release today offering an offer that probably can’t refuse…..

From the company’s press release:

“In its latest move, T-Mobile is eliminating one of the last remaining obstacles for individuals and families wanting to switch from AT&T, Sprint or Verizon to the Un-carrier by offering to pay off their early termination fees. With an eligible phone trade-in, the total value of the offer to switch to T-Mobile could be as high as $650 per line.

“We’re giving families a ‘Get Out of Jail Free Card,’ said John Legere, president and chief executive officer of T-Mobile. “Carriers have counted on staggered contract end dates and hefty early termination fees to keep people bound to them forever. But now families can switch to T-Mobile without paying a single red cent to leave them behind.”

The promotion starts tomorrow and it works like this: customers from the three major US carriers who hand in their eligible devices at any participating T-Mobile location and switch to a postpaid Simple Choice Plan can receive up to $300.

That’s just for the device trade-in. After you purchase your ‘eligible’ phone from T-Mobile, you can send in their final bill from your previous carrier, and they’ll send you an additional payment equal to your termination fees, up to $350 per line.

So while there are definitely some stipulations here, customers switching from Verizon, Sprint or AT&T to T-Mobile could wind up with as much as $650 in credits. That’s quite a bit more than AT&T under its very-similar promotion.  What do you think, is this persuading you to switch??? This is dope actually… LOL I’m thinking about switching myself and I was praying “Jesus Be A Sign” and BAM there it was… LOL

  1. Not interested in switching and if I did I d got ot verizon – You know you could be in the middle of the never never land forest with a verizon device and still find a connection – Ill stick with sprint though – been there for 12yrs – had t-mobile and they sucked too!

  2. Eye’m not switching. Eye switched away from them 2 Verizon. T-Mobile’s service SUCKS…Their phones are ALWAYS problematic. They send you USED phones that are dirty and just don’t care. Verizon however, anything go wrong with your phones, which is NEVER, they go to the back and bring out a BRAND NEW one for you.My friend dropped his phone and went to Verizon and they gave him a new one from the back in their store.T-Mobile make u send the phone back yourself, it takes over a fucking week, when you receive it, it’s dirty and OBVIOUSLY very used. Eye left them with a unpaid bill because my phone would lock up and stay locked up for over 10 hours, eye could never use my phone ad these bitches still sent me a 30 day bill, eye said bullshit eye never used it. Everyone refurbished one they sent it SUCKED TOO. Eye walked away very nice and never returned. Eye tolerated that shit for so long like a young fool. The people there don’t give a fuck!!
