There’s been another deadly officer-involved shooting today, within 24 hours of Alton Sterling being killed. Diamond Lavish Reynolds recorded a facebook live video during a traffic stop showing her boyfriend, 32-year-old Philando Castile being killed by a police officer in Falcon Heights, MN.
The video is very graphic and heartbreaking, it shows Castile after he was shot by a St. Anthony Police officer, during traffic stop; watch video now you can hear and see his girlfriend plead for help on Facebook live video stream.
Castile was shot 4 times in front of his 4- year old daughter and girlfriend as he was reaching for his ID.
Reynolds account originally posted this video and it is no longer active. We are not sure if Facebook deleted her account or if Lavish Reynolds deactivated the account.
Reynolds says that the man who was shot is “licensed to carry” and was “trying to get out his ID” and “he let the officer know he had a firearm, and he was reaching for his wallet, and the officer just shot him. … He just shot his arm off.”

A bystander recorded this video from their apartment and shared on twitter.
The officer said “I told him to get his hand out; I told him not to reach for it,” says Reynolds, adding, “Oh my God, don’t tell me he’s dead, please don’t tell me my boyfriend just went like that.”
“I told him to get his hand off!” The officer says at one point. He tells Reynolds to keep her hands where they are.
St. Anthony Police confirmed that two officers were involved in the shooting, which happened in the area of Larpenteur Avenue and Fry Street. Castile’s girlfriend, Diamond “Lavish” Reynolds, and her daughter were in the car at the time. Reynolds was being interviewed Wednesday night by the police, TattleTailzz confirmed she was not in custody.
Philando Castile’s mother, Valerie Castile, says he died at Hennepin County Medical Center.
