I agree with Timbaland, the proper way to “executive produce” an Aaliyah track would be to get  Timbaland and Missy involved. Drake who is a HUGE Aaliyah fan has started this project of executive producing “Aaliyah’s posthumous album.

In a recent interview with Power 105′s The Breakfast Club, Timbaland shared his feelings on the matter, saying, “I know they trying to drop some Aaliyah records, but if Drake do it, it should be with me and him, and Missy. I don’t know what’s going on. The proper way to do that would be for me, him and Missy to be all on the record. For it to be on his record, that would not be right.” The best decision, what the fans would want to see is all three of us. It can’t be something to make money off of ’cause I think it’s wrong to make money off the dead.”
