Numbers Are In: Kanye #1 J. Cole #2 and Kelly Rowland #4

Last Tuesday was an epic day with J. Cole and Kanye dropping along with Kelly Rowland and Mac Miller. Kayne and J.Cole came close, according to Hits Daily Double Kanye pushed #328,000 units with J. Cole coming in with #297,000, Mac Miller   #101,105 and Kelly pushing 66,000. I am so proud of Jermaine great promo for his sophomore album. J. Cole’s  first week sales are better than his last album…Growth is all that matters and to top it he didn’t even have 1/10 of Kanye’s promotion… Proud of him…. Kelly, just Kelly…She tried it, but I feel she should of released her album either a week before or a week after this.

Kelly should have had a duet with Kanye West or J Cole. I didn’t realize her album was out this week either, but everyone knew about Kanye and J Cole.

      I agree

I’m not surprised. Good for J. Cole. And yes they always do Kelly wrong. When I found out her album had the same release day I knew it wouldn’t sell.

I really wish Kelly would have had better numbers. Her promotion wasn’t correct. She needs a better team.

Who really bought that trash Yeezus and I love J.Cole his album is fire!!!!!!!!! Well deserved J.Cole. I love Kelly but the promotion for that album was all wrong. All she did was talk about Beyonce and that dirty laundry was not a radio single. Her team needs to start from scratch.

I love Kelly, she’ll move on up

It’s clear that R&B is not a powerhouse of a seller..Kelly went up against three Powerful sellers and still managed to pull ok numbers…Its not considerably a flop..because first week sales should NEVER depict the outcome of an album!Congrats Kelly..BEAUTIFUL album
