New Year New Inspirations By Buzz Bunny

In a world of so much to accomplish and seemingly so little time, refreshing the page is something we should all do. Whether that involves starting over again or making a minor adjustment, I would like to offer a bit of advice on turning those new year’s resolutions into fruition this time around.

“It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare; it is because we do not dare that they are difficult.” ~Deepak Chopra

Relax and breathe, take a moment to just be. This is your center, a place you should spend time at every day. De-cluttering life sometimes requires just the simple joy of taking a breather.

Figure out what it is you really want to do. Not because of money, what others think or even stability. Take time to get to know you and dig deep. What inspires you? What do you enjoy? Write down some ideas then brainstorm a career or path that incorporates them.

Now, put yourself out there! Meet people, volunteer for a cause you believe in, join a running club, yoga studio, or whatever interests you and connect with people that enjoy the things you do. You never know who you may meet;)

Surround yourself with positive energy and support – friends, mentors, whomever or whatever you feel lifted by. Negative energy is not something you have to deal with nor should, so eliminate those road blocks from your life. If you are creating negative energy yourself, stop and inquire why, then deal with it and move on. You will feel a whole lot better once you do. Happiness is something you create.

Live simply. The more you obsess over material or your idealistic things, always wanting more, never being happy with enough, the more unhappy you become.
Listen to your body and treat it as your temple. Stress and anxiety are a common theme in our generation. Try natural healing through music, meditation or journaling. Mind, body and soul will begin to align and ailments will lessen.

Open yourself to love. We all have been through loss and heartbreak, it is a natural part of life. And no matter how unfair or horrible it was, it was meant to prepare you for that next step in your life. Love is an essential need to everyone so give plenty of it, without expectations and you will receive much more back.

Let go. Often times, we paint a picture of what we want and when things do not go exactly as we planned, it throws us off or maybe we figure out that it wasn’t what we wanted at all. Pay attention to the lessons we are meant to learn and forget the outcome. Change is natural and should be embraced.

Don’t be afraid to fall. Believe in yourself! Address your fears. What is the worst that can happen? You tried something and it doesn’t work out. So what! At least now you don’t have to spend the rest of your life wondering if you should have done it. Take the leap, you just may be pleasantly surprised.

Be accountable. To yourself and everyone else that you are in interaction with. Commit to the plans, promises and goals you make. Otherwise what’s the point of making them. Why wait any longer? It’s your time to create!
