Move over Jennifer Lopez,  Nicki Minaj wants your seat,  possibly your job. The  ”Starship” rapper and entertainer Nicki Minaj performed on American Idol tonight, the not so shy star solicited American Idol for a job, unless that was her subliminal message to Simon Cowell.  Nicki Minaj said to the judges,

‘I was hoping maybe I could come back and be a guest judge,” then Minaj added: “J-Lo, can you scoot over a little bit?” Jennifer Lopez paused  before replying (I think she was having an “in living color” flashback and was about to go Homie the Clown on Nicki Minaj)  ”I don’t know if there’s enough room for both of us.”  Minaj shrugged off Lopez’s shade.

When asked by The Hollywood Reporter backstage  Nicki could tell J-Lo wasn’t haven’t that,  ”No, actually, I love J-Lo. I love what she’s done for pop culture I have nothing but respect for her and we were just joking around. I’m sure I’ll have lots of fun with them when I’m guest judging.”

Don’t worry J.Lo she want’s Jay-Z position also.
