Moet & Chandon And Music Icon “Nas” Launch Exclusive 2012 Moet Rose Lounge Tour

The World’s Premier Champagne House Presents 1st of Three-City Private Supper Club-Style Dinner Party With Celebration for Nas’ Life is Good Album Debut
Moet & Chandon, the champagne of success and glamour since 1743, announced today the launch of their 2012 Moet Rose Lounge Series. The celebrity-hosted, supper club-style tour will commence in New York City on July 16, 2012 with hosts Nasir “Nas” Jones and Q-Tip before making stops in Miami and Los Angeles.

Reserved for local tastemakers and media, the Moet Rose Lounge translates the extravagance of Moet Nectar Imperial Rose into a tangible, celebratory occasion. Each year the Moet Rose Lounge Series embodies a different celebratory theme for its attendees. In 2011, the Moet Rose Lounge Series was a penthouse tour with a night-lounge atmosphere. This year the event series will feature a private intimate sit-down dinner followed by a private party in a supper club environment.

“As the ultimate champagne of celebration, Moet & Chandon is very proud to be hosting and toasting Nas’ Life is Good album release,” said Keith Howard, Moet & Chandon Brand Director. “The Moet Rose Lounge events are always about acknowledging success and accomplishment and we are so pleased to be hosting a dinner and after-party this year for honoree and hip-hop icon Nasir ‘Nas’ Jones.”

Moet & Chandon and hip-hop icon Nasir “Nas” Jones will host on the eve of Nas’ highly anticipated Life is Good album release to initiate the series in his native city of New York. Fellow hip-hop heavyweight, Q-Tip, will serve as the evening’s resident DJ, in addition to DJ Wonder.

“I’m excited to serve as the inaugural host of Moet & Chandon’s Moet Rose Lounge 2012 series,” says Nasir “Nas” Jones. “It’s an honor to celebrate the next chapter of my career with the support of a sophisticated brand like Moet.”

To celebrate the upcoming event series, Moet & Chandon has also partnered with the luxury brand Mosley Tribes for the Moet Rose Lounge series for a second year to create custom limited edition “Rose” sunglasses in celebration of the private three-city celebrity supper club-style tour. The oversized, acetate sunglasses are retro inspired with a double bridge style, matte and gloss plastic frame front, and rose-colored mirrored lenses.

The Moet Rose Lounge debuted in June 2010 with influential singer-songwriter The Dream in Detroit. Previous Moet Rose Lounge celebrity hosts included: Kelly Rowland, Ne-Yo, Trey Songz, Common and Keri Hilson in markets such as: New York City, Chicago, Atlanta, Washington DC, Miami, Baltimore and Cleveland. Hosts and dates for the Miami and Los Angeles 2012 Moet Rose Lounge tour stops will be announced at a later date.
