Love me-femi was founded in 2011 by Bianca Wassermann, an Austrian born and German raised fashion lover. After spending five years in Brooklyn/ New York Bianca returned to Germany in 2010 to raise her daughter Chloé-Femi around family.
Living in Brooklyn was a challenging and extremely inspiring experience, it was a melting pot of cultures, art and fashion diversity which only Brooklyn has to offer, there is NO place like BK.
Bianca who was always into custom jewelry, following the motto: the bigger, the bolder, the better. She believes that accessories make an outfit and definitely make a statement.
Inspired and motivated by her daughter Chloé-Femi she created the jewelry line “Love me-femi”. The name FEMI, which is of African origin, means love me.
While most custom jewelry may be very affordable but tend to deteriorate and require a nip and tuck Bianca decided to let her creativity go and recreate masterpieces from abandoned jewelry and the reason why most of the love me-femi collection (made out of new and recycled jewelry) include “ONE OF A KIND” pieces!
In 2011 Bianca started allowing her thoughts to flow and within 2 months she created over 50 pairs of earrings and numerous necklaces plus ear-to-neck pieces.
In a very intimate preview of her collection she scored a major success for herself and her art was received very well. 2012 should become the year of LOVE ME-FEMI!
