Just days before her album will be released, Lady Gaga has fired her manager, Troy Carter! Troy Carter had managed Lady Gaga (whose real name is Stefani Germanotta ) since 2007 before the release of her first album, and he is regarded in the music industry as an important force in her rise to megastar status.
According to Showbiz411.com, stating the reason for the split was “creative differences” that why Gaga fired Troy. But for months the music business has been rife with talk about an estrangement between the two, as well as speculation about how it might affect the commercial performance of her album, “Artpop,” to be released next week by Interscope Records.
Troy also manages John Legend, and is making a name for himself in Silicon Valley – he is an investor in technology start-ups, including Uber app and the music site Songza. Mr. Carter is getting that technology internet money, he is good!
Mr. Carter is also raising $75 million to $100 million for an investment fund.
Vince has a production deal with Lady Gaga and is still on board as of now.
