Kim Kardashian Auctions Her Old Clothes On Ebay To Help Philippines Typhoon Victims

Kim Kardashian is trying to help the victims who were affected by the Typhoon that took place in the  Philippines. She will be selling her clothes on Ebay… But the catch is she will only donate  just 10% of the proceeds to charity.

Launching the sale on Thursday, the 33-year-old reality star tweeted a link to her personal website where she had written a personal letter

‘Hi guys, this is a very special auction because a portion of the proceeds of my eBay auction are going to International Medical Corps, a nonprofit organisation that provides critical health services on remote islands where families are struggling to access medical care and basic resources like food, clean drinking water and vital medications,’ she wrote.

‘The proceeds will go directly to the communities they’re serving in the Philippines and will help typhoon survivors get access to medical care and ultimately save lives.

‘My prayers and thoughts are with those affected by the typhoon. Check out my eBay auction here and support those who need our help in the Philippines. Xo’

Let me get this straight: You live a life that people cannot even begin to imagine, the money, the access, getting to meet ballers because, I don’t know, it’s a Friday, Clothes, cars, and all the attention you could ask for.

Yet you can’t even fork over a higher future tax write off for a group of people that just want to sleep somewhere dry? Yet she is getting people to buy her clothes, with their own money to act like she has donated out of her own pocket… But hey at least she is doing something….

SMH – The motif is nice – but that could just be so she can make more money to make that 10% even matter

Why not just cut a check it ain’t like she don’t have the money.

LOL. This bish. As they say, the rich will get richer.

Only 10% huh? (wow) I hate to be a Debbie Downer but the people in Haiti are still struggling. Celebs and regular Americans donated millions of dollars combined for that relief effort. Yet, only a percentage of that money was used to rebuild and provide relief. You are better off going over on a flight and joining a mission group on the ground to provide relief directly to the people of that region, that way you can see exactly where your money is going. I don’t trust any of these organizations that claim money is being spent to help. Who is going to monitor Kim’s efforts? It’s so easy to say ” 10% will go to __________” but will it actually go there? Brands do it all the time. ( I completely agree Kia)
