All I have to say is after a recent Rolling Stone interview in which Kid Rock gave some not so favorable comments about Queen Bey, he better up his security and enter somebody’s witness protection program because the Beyhive has probably already put a hit out on his head! The rocker recently sat down with Rolling Stone and had this to say about the “Drunk in Love” superstar:
He told Rolling Stone he is “flabbergasted” by Beyoncé worship, saying, “Beyoncé, to me, doesn’t have a f—— ‘Purple Rain,’ but she’s the biggest thing on Earth. How can you be that big without at least one ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ or ‘Old Time Rock & Roll’? People are like, ‘Beyoncé’s hot. Got a nice f—— a–.’ I’m like, ‘Cool, I like skinny white chicks with big t–s.’ Doesn’t really f—— do much for me.”
I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but if he wants to judge Beyonce’s work against such classics as “Purple Rain”, then he himself should be judged the same standards…and I don’t believe that he has any songs close to those classics either. I mean don’t get me wrong, he has definitely carved out a niche for himself in the industry but he isn’t exactly known as a musical genius either, and the negative comments about her booty and what he prefers his women to look like, well that’s pretty much to be expected from someone that looks like Honey Boo Boo’s long lost uncle. Rock does have a new album out so maybe all this shade at Beyonce’ is supposed to drum up interest in his new project. I mean the easiest way to get some press nowadays is to mention Beyonce’ or the Kardashians, or maybe he was just expressing himself and not giving a f*** in typical Kid Rock fashion. So what do you think, is Rock just being honest or is he just looking for attention by throwing shots at Bey?
