Kesha Claims If She Lies About Rape Allegations She Will Get Her Freedom

Pop singer Kesha has claimed that her former #mentor Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald would release her from her record deal if she denied allegations he sexually abused her and issued a public apology.
Kesha took to Instagram and wrote,

“so. I got offered my freedom IF i were to lie. I would have to APOLOGIZE publicly and say that I never got raped. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS behind closed doors. I will not take back the TRUTH. I would rather let the truth ruin my career than lie for a monster ever again.”

Kesha is in an ongoing legal battle with Dr. Luke’s Sony Music-based Kemosabe Records over the contract, and Kesha owes up to six more studio albums to her alleged abuser Dr. Luke— Kesha has a standing offer from Sony to record music with not involving Dr. Luke although he would still profit. In February, New York Superior Court Judge cited a lack of evidence for her allegations of abuse and ruling that she still owes the Sony-based label six full studio albums.

Dr. Luke has denied any wrongdoings and claims its motivated by money, stating ” it’s sad that she would turn a contract negotiation into something so horrendous and untrue.”

Kesha once testified under oath in 2011 that Dr.Luke never made sexual advances towards her.

Dr. Luke also tweeted:

“It’s sad that she would turn a contract negotiation into something so horrendous and untrue.”

“This is an ongoing legal case so I won’t be responding / talking much about this. This should be tried in a court of law.”

  1. “The Court repeatedly stated Kesha is already free to record without Dr.
Luke, and that she had not presented any facts supporting her claims.
That’s because all the evidence — including Kesha’s own videotaped sworn
testimony — show her allegations are false. The only thing Kesha is not
free to do is to continue to lie about Dr. Luke through publicity
stunts and outrageous smears, ignoring the fact that by her own free
will she went to work and entered into new contracts with Dr. Luke years
after this ‘incident’ supposedly happened. Her goal all along has been
solely personal enrichment by seeking to break contracts that brought
her success and millions so she can enter into more lucrative ones. We

    1. Kesha has nice hair and a fresh freckled face just like…oh uhm wait. Is Luci looking right now? Ok I’ll be back.

      1. Luci happily does not have that many freckles!!!! Stick around and play, this is my friend Kia’s site. She is beyond the coolest of cool.

        1. Well hello Kia…you’re in very apt hands with Luci. If we got Marballs and Caryn in this sura you’d be entertained by endless chicanery.
          Smooch my Luce.

            1. Now be careful with world geography. We’ve been through the ringer. By “ringer” I’m speaking of the time in Bombay…oyyyyvayyyy.

    2. oooh man.
      Smh

This is why you have to “wait” for things to come thru and be confirmed and why its a HORRIBLE idea to just ALWAYS believe an accuser right off the bat.
Nothing wrong with just staying objective.
If a person comes up to you saying they have been harmed by someone and you cannot see anything to tell you either way just stay middlegrounded and try to lead them to get help. You are not the cops or jury.

Its like there is some big grand social experimental conspiracy going on right now with all of these ‘rape’ claims coming out this way. :^S

      1. It’s more than an experiment. It’s an attempt to manipulate with propaganda. They know reiteration of a theme helps reinforce it. And others seeing what is going on, now just follow along for their own advantage.

      2. I am very interested to see how this one plays out. The he said/she said is not going to work here because what it does come down to is her trying to get out of her contract, and whether or not she is using the allegations to get out of the contract. One would think that his company has all proof in the world to show how many contracts she has signed with him, and a jury is only going to believe her sobbing mother saying she feared for her safety so many times as she repeatedly signed multimillion dollar contracts with the guy, rather than ran for her life. Funny how NOW, that her case is with the appellate court and she has already signed under new management that she is willing to “ruin her career” and not back down, but not when she was being sued and testified nothing happened. Taylor Swift gave her $250,000 towards her legal fees and days later her and her boyfriend took a trip to the Bahamas. A week ago she was pictured lounging in a pool at a resort. What is the real story here?

        1. Oooh man. No wonder some pages i have looked onto people are doubting her story. Wow. How very sad.
Yes after i read about she signed other contracts with him yet she says NOW that she is willing to go into ruin. Well she just might be right on that.

          Hmm..
Well im sure she will try to ride this wave when she gets to do another album. I guess she will be able to. All of this sympathy for her can help her sell some records :^P

Gonna go make me some Mangosteen and peach tea now. (giggle)

          1. And in the fact that her mother is a famous musician/songwriter. When you are a songwriter, all of your work is done by contract. You are selling what you write. You either make good money doing it or you get scammed. Its not like she didnt know better. So for her mother to be SOOOOO involved in this and be SOOOO vocal about it, where was she when all of this was going on? Where was she when her daughter was signing into these horrible contracts that she is accusing him of and taking advantage of her financially? Mark Geragos wrote in the appeal that he compared Keshas current situation to slavery………

  3. I don’t know much about the accusations either way but heard a court determined her claims weren’t sufficient to void a recording contract she wants out of & that she stands to profit IF she can legally void the contract. Going in, I had doubts. But when Kesha invoked the name of Dr Cosby by likening Dr Luke to him it sealed the deal. 99% of these celebrities whether its Amber Rose or JuddApatow are lying through their teeth. If Kesha cared even a little about rape or truth she wouldn’t be making false claims about Dr Cosby. She’s exactly the sort of person who would lie about rape to line her own pockets.

    1. It’s worse than that, she had said years ago, under oath, nothing happened. Only when she was not being released from her contract did she suddenly make the claim.

      1. Maybe Dr. Luke can sue for her TO be released from his contract. hahahaha. But Sony already tossed him by now?

          1. Oh ok.
I remember it was just “speculation” of whether Sony was going to do it but they hadn’t done anything yet
TMZ got one article saying Kesha is saying Sony would boot her.
            Maybe so

            1. It’s funny and sad to see someone who has been violent in his texts online things it is odd and sad anyone would doubt him at all. My Latin quote is right on target- for the whole mess!

                1. Oh if they TRUELY did they’d be all up on their Webelieve page telling it straight. THAT is what they would do. Help their fans so that when things don’t go their way later on down the line they won’t be all surprised and dumb-founded

                2. Oh if they TRUELY did they’d be all up on their Webelieve page telling it straight. THAT is what they would do. Help their fans so that when things don’t go their way later on down the line they won’t be all surprised and dumb-founded

        1. On a side note, it is funny to see someone trying to correct my Latin quotes, trying to act like they know what they are talking about, but proving they do not. Anyone can copy and paste it to find the source of the quote and how the correction is false, and can only come from someone who doesn’t know Latin. Typical of the pretenders we face 🙂

          1. Because their “google translate” version didnt come out the same as your original?

            1. It’s more than that 🙂 But I’m reading through Egbert of Liege and found some of these quotes very apropos. The one they wanted to correct meant, “Many
rumors, running swiftly, race with one another. ” Very apropos.

                1. Which if he knew Latin, he would have known — instead of trying to correct the Latin 🙂 But yes.. fitting and shows how history repeats itself.

        2. Or, to quote some more, ” Mendaci, dum vera canat, vix creditur ulli; nam quae sanctius affirmat, magis irrita credas.”

          1. Yep. He is. Good.

            Shame.

These people are going after wealthy men who are known buttholes to then throw claims on them thinking it would bring everyone over to their side and even happy to tear the person down because they accused is usually a jerk anyhow.
However as this going on thru the legal courts things get revealed and it messes over everything else. Particularly “real” victims.
In the meantime the butthole guy’s antic’s get viewed as weaker as ‘not so bad’ to almost nullified in some people’s eyes when compared to the mess and hysteria that these women have done on the m.
The very thing with men the feminist were trying to get rid of and stop is the VERY thing they are growing.

Its just a mess all the way around.

            1. People tend to forget this is a business. Its about making money. I realize that seems cruel and all but she signed on as a product of his business. If you are seeking to keep your individuality, you search for an indy label that will allow you to be who you are. You dont sign onto a Sony contract and think that you can just do what you want with no expectations and everything will just be rainbows and cupcakes. The guy is not there to hold peoples hands and pass out Safety Suckers for a job well done. Yes, he’s not there to rape anyone either, but that has yet to be proven. As ive mentioned before, her mother blamed him for her eating disorder, claiming he said she looked like a “refrigerator”. She is the product. If she were a model, would her agency be thrilled if they contracted a 100lb girl who in two months suddenly weighed 170lbs? Can they “sell” her? Is she honoring the agreement she made with them? Do they have a right to be angry about it? Her “image” is part of the package. Is someone simply a dick because their “product” is failing to live up to her contract and investment?

              1. And here i am reading a little bit from this article i saw posted elsewhere:
“The Music Industry Men Who Got Away with Exploiting Female Pop Stars”

right in line with your comment

                1. Its not just women. Everyone forgets what Prince went thru also. I have friends in the music industry. One was a no named band who signed onto a somewhat insignificant label at the time under a HORRIBLE contract. But they were signed and that was all they cared about. Every garage band kids dream. Well they became huge. Massive, beyond any expectation the label could have imagined, yet the band was making pennies while the label was raking in millions. No exaggeration. So the band sued the label to get out of the contract and they won. They didnt want money, or to be compensated for what they had lost, they just wanted out of their contract. They then sign a great contract with a major label and life is wonderful until they got greedy and accuse the label of stealing money from them and they sue this label. This time they lost. The label pulls up all of the paperwork showing everything was legit from day one, and however they were pissing their money away and not properly keeping records was their problem, not the labels. They have at least managed to stay on good terms with them and remained in business. Another one of my friends is a sessions musician who was to record and go on tour with a famous band. They wanted to hire him on permanently and he said hell no after it was all over. I went out and stayed with him a couple of times while they were recording and he was living in an average, run of the mill apartment complex with one of the other guys in the band and his girlfriend. Their bills were laying all over the place, collection notices, disconnection notice for the phone. The week after they finished recording they were leaving the country to do a festival and the lease was up on the apartment so they dumped all of us in this cheap motel. The “rock and roll lifestyle” is not always what it seems.

                2. Right, Prince is an example, but really, it is the industry as a whole. Tom Petty did some great songs about the industry as a whole, and often talks about it when asked.

                3. Its kind to some, very unkind to others. Prince is the prime example because he was VERY famous at the time that he had issues. It was not like he was a struggling up and comer that was trying to prove himself and was being taken advantage of. Others its more about their ego and thinking they deserve more than they are getting.

                4. That is true about Prince.
Thats also why to this day if you go to Youtube you cannot get much of his music. At most the music video but different music. Sometimes nothing. Lol. He has great control of his songs

              2. Yes Indy is good. Real good. Just that people want the money and all the glam and fame we see out here.

These celebs have “handlers”(take that how you want it to mean) and they manage and tell the artists how things go and what to do. Along with their agents too.
If unable to stick with how the contract goes, which from what you said can be VERY difficult, then its just too much to handle.

I know some celebs have insurance on their body parts so just imagine how that goes for them to always have those parts looking good at all time. Ugh

                1. She started out when she was 18 and a lot of the time you dont get all of the perks when you are just begining but once you start making money you do. There is an expectation. These people who are “made” by the companies who “own” them choose the clothes they wear, how their hair looks, the songs they sing. When they finally hit it big and reach the end of their contract, THEN they can go out soul searching and do their own thing and be who they want to be, and sing what they want. These things are not some sort of a surprise. The deal is: I will make you famous but you have to do this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this…….and all you heard was “FAMOUS”.

                2. Reminds me of Pink. She didn’t want to do the R&B thing. I see her contract was small. Maybe one album or whatever. But she talked about it in her music. She didn’t want to be another Brittany Spears either. Talked anout how the industry was trying to make her change herself
