Kendrick Lamar was invited by President Obama to play his Fourth of July party alongside Janelle Monae on Monday night at the White House. The other performance was by President Obama, Yes POTUS sang happy birthday to his oldest daughter Malia Obama who just turned 18.
They performed for President Obama, White House staff, and their families.

President Obama wished everyone a happy Fourth of July and recognized service members, veterans and their families for their service to our country. “Fourth of July is about family, it’s about the American family,” he said. “We all know that our freedoms are dependent on the incredible group of men and women in uniform who look out for us every single day.”
