Kanye West will not be attending the MTV VMA’s!! According to DailyMail the rapper pulled out at the last minute,  because he wants to support his girlfriend Kim Kardashian at her perfume launch in New York City tonight.

Kim Kardashian will not be attending due to conflicting schedules, the reality star had a prior engagement in NYC for Fashion’s Night Out, where she will be promoting her True Reflection perfume at Lord & Taylor.

Then after the Fashion Night out the reality start will attend the Democratic National Convention after party in North Carolina….

Yes Kim at the DNC makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE, but hey…..politics are politics

Also to avoid conflict MTV has changed the time slot of the VMA’s

“We are airing the show on Thursday, September 6th from 8 – 10 p.m., as opposed to our traditional 9 – 11 p.m. timeslot to avoid conflict with the Democratic National Convention proceedings that evening,”
