Beyoncé and Jay-Z were out picking up last minute items before the couple heads to the Nation’s Capitol Washington D.C for the Presidential Inaugural. The pair were spotted this afternoon in Manhattan, grabbing a bite to eat from one of their favorite spots Cipriani and doing some last minute shopping.

Beyoncé will sing the national anthem and James Taylor will sing “America the Beautiful” on the West Front of the Capitol on Monday. Both performers are regular Obama supporters. Katy Perry, Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, Usher and Brad Paisley will be among the celebrities in attendance this weekend.

After Jay-Z spent the day with Bey he spent the evening at the Barclays Center attending the game between the Brooklyn Nets and the Atlanta Hawks on January 18, 2013. Deron Williams scored 24 points, making four free throws in the final 43.4 seconds, and the Brooklyn Nets beat the Atlanta Hawks 94-89 on Friday night to earn a split of a home-and-home series.
