Finally Rick Ross Admits to Being A Correctional Officer

Love him or hate him 50 is from the streets, his life is real and he still take care of his…..

I have always said, that if Rick Ross would’ve admitted from the beginning he was a C.O he would sell more albums and more people would relate, and respect his “gangsterment”..me personally I can’t relate to a “want to be thug, or a liar, I’m down with recreating your self to improve your life, but I wish he would’ve told the truth years ago.  He could have said yes so what, I was a C.O and left everything to our imagination, however his first response was to LIE, years later and millions made and still no platinum albums.

To some  Rick Ross is considered a “King” in hip hop, I questioned those and ask  ”how did we get that lost in the hip hop world that we allowed a gimmick to control the music?

Anyway, In a recent interview with Rolling Stone magazine the Maybach Music founder said he was once a correctional officer. (Finally)

Check out what our friends over at HSK

Here’s what William “Rick Ross” Roberts had to say in recent interview with Rolling Stones Magazine

“My C.O gig began after my running buddy was sentenced to prison on a 10-year-bid for trafficking heroin and cocaine. This was my best friend, who I ate peanut-butter-and-jelly sandwiches with, and pork and beans with, my buddy, my partner, my number-one dude.

Suddenly I’m talking to him over federal phonecalls. Hearing the way it was building, I knew I couldn’t take nothing for granted. My homey’s father was a huge influence on my life, too. He was the one who was like, ‘Yo, go get a job somewhere, man. Go be a fireman. Or go be a fucking corrections officer. Just go sit down somewhere.”’

Finally…….
