Beyonce has been revealing alot about her life, that her fans were so desperately wanting to know after all these years. I guess she is finally letting her hair down and revealing an intimiate side. I was reading a snippet of an interview Beyonce has done in her new cover for Vogue, clearly as promotion for her upcoming documentary which will be airing February 16th on HBO.. Click here to watch preview!.  She discusses the things that her father did in the industry below to secure her success, and while it seems that she disagreed at first, she now believes he did what needed to be done.

From One story line that shapes the film is Beyoncé’s difficult 2011 decision to split with her father, Mathew Knowles, as her business manager. At first she is desolate—“My soul has been tarnished,” she declares—but later, as she asserts her independence and confronts the petty squabbles of the business, she comes around to appreciating her father’s hand. “My father taught me so much about being a businesswoman,” she says. “And I’m understanding him a lot now. . . . A lot of the crazy things he did were necessary.”
I think before the fame her family life seemed perfect (married parents). but soon after the fame, all the ugliest (deceit) revealed itself. Matthew’s actions with regard to those theft allegations and his infidelity (and baby) have been unsettling for Beyonce. The realization of her father’s many “Imperfections” seems to have really broken her heart (i.e. tarnished soul comment). If you can’t trust YOUR own dad, then how can you trust? I think the situation with her dad humbled her a bit, Like a revelation of sorts…
