Rest in Peace to Ty Doohen, the son of Adrian Peterson who died today after being attacked by his mothers boyfriend. South Dakota police confirmed to NFL Media that the two-year-old son of Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson died from injuries suffered during an alleged domestic abuse incident. Earlier today we reported that Adrian’s son was attacked by his mothers boyfriend and was in critical condition, and now the little boy has died.
Adrian Peterson tweeted “Thank you to my family, my fans and fans of other teams for their support, The NFL is a fraternity of brothers and I am thankful for the tweets, phone calls and text messages from my fellow players.
Reports later stated that Peterson’s two-year-old son had allegedly been beaten by the boyfriend of the child’s mother. The man was arrested, and police said Friday afternoon that the state’s attorney’s office is considering additional charges.
Adrian Peterson recently found out Ty Doohen was his son less than a week ago, and unfortunately not sure how much time the two spent together prior to this tragedy.
Here’s a picture of Joey Patterson this is the man arrested in the death of Ty Doohen.
It’s amazing how she was his side piece while his fiance and her both were pregnant at the same time… That is why everyone has mixed up thinking it was AP JR. Yes he just lost his child, but he was never apart of this baby’s life. On his instagram he only posts AP Jr and his daughter. So how many kids does he have?
He failed that child like the mother did. Im sorry I know its ultimately Mr. Patterson’s fault but we have bad parenting. A convict around children, and a man whose child lives in another state, that nobody knew of prior to this attack. (And dont give me that its not our business bullcrap either), because Adrian has introduced all fans of football to his son multiple times on television.
I have to reluctantly hand it to those men who have multiple and even over lapping kids out of wedlock but own up and play a major role in their kids life…..like Diddy he is a great father.
Check his TMZ press conference video.. Peterson doesn’t even sound like a sad father. Seems like he’s pretty content and very nonchalant. Smiling throughout… While everyone thinks and sees this as a tragedy, he may possibly thinking otherwise…. Poor baby….
Women and Men. Please be careful with who you allow access to your children. Do not ignore any red flags when it comes to allowing individuals access to your kids. Do background checks. Monitor your child and their behavior around that person. Monitor and observe that individual’s behavior around your children. Establish clear and open communication in regards to how that child feels and thinks about that individual. Even if the mother and father should split up please keep open communication in regards to the child. Be leery about leaving children alone with people you hardly know (including relatives, neighbors, etc.) R.I.P. little man..
