He’s my perfect match… but I do have to scold him when he flirts with my mother!’

In a recent interview with OK Magazine, Katy Perry spoke about herself as a person, kissing a girl – ‘of course I have! I can’t sing a song and not have done it’ – and about her marriage to comedian Russell Brand, 35.
‘He’s very charming with my parents and he has an ongoing email love letter with my mom, and she loves it. It’s totally inappropriate and I have to tell him to stop.’
Katy admits she knew all about his past: ‘He was a heroin addict and now he’s not. He was addicted to all kinds of things and now he’s not.
‘So he’s an extremist, which can be both good and bad.’
She said she would love to have children with him one day.

Brandtold OK! magazine : ‘I love children. I think when I am among children is when I feel most liberated. I go nuts with children. Especially when I don’t have any. When I’m around my mates’ children, I jazz them kids up, I swear at them, I get them all worked up, I say crazy stuff to them. I fill their heads with nonsense and then leave them.
‘I am very much looking forward to being a dad. Who knows when? Soon I hope.
