Diddy Speaks on Trump and Clinton “We Need to Hold Our Vote Because I Don’t Believe Any of Them”

Sean “Diddy” Combs is approaching this presidential election with a “wait and see” attitude, and he’s encouraging black voters to do the same.

“The heat has to be turned up so much that, as a community, we got to hold our vote,” Diddy told Al Sharpton on MSNBC’s “Politics Nation” Sunday. “Don’t pacify yourself, really revolutionize the game. Make them come for our vote. It’s a whole different strategy but I think we need to hold our vote because I don’t believe any of them.”
Diddy has been a long-time supporter of President Barack Obama, he has and even donated to Hillary Clinton’s campaign when she ran for the New York Senate seat in 2001. Now, however, he’s urging black voters to hold their votes. Diddy went on to say, “You can get the vote. It doesn’t have to be held that long. But you have to come get it. …You have to bring something with it.” We agree Diddy!

“My number one thing, though, to be honest, is black people,” Diddy said. “I feel like we put President Obama in the White House. When I look back, I just wanted more done for my people because that’s the name of the game.”
“This is politics,” Diddy continued. “You put somebody in office you get in return the things that you care about for your communities. I think we got a little bit shortchanged. That’s not knocking the president. … He’s done an excellent job, you know, but I think it’s time to turn up the heat because the black vote is going to decide who is the next president of the United States.”

Donald Trump’s “what the hell do you have to lose?” pitch was followed Saturday by what many are calling a “skeptical” outreach for African-American votes. That prompted Diddy’s Sunday appearance on Sharpton’s show, where the music giant delivered a message to Clinton.

“I hope she starts to directly talk to the black community. … It really makes me feel, you know, almost hurt that our issues are not addressed and we’re such a big part of the voting bloc.”

  1. I understand what Diddy is saying but I feel the the issues of people in general should be addressed by both candidates, since whoever wins will be this entire country’s president, not just black people’s president, just my opinion. PEACE!!!
